The location of North View Cottage was perfect for our stay in Shaldon. It was within walking distance of the village and there was a longer walk or ferry ride to Teignmouth. The cottage itself was very cosy and comfortable, with a lovely log burner in the room. The beds were extremely comfortable and the fittings in the cottage were of good quality. Having a bath in addition to a shower was a nice bonus.
One minor drawback was that the bathroom didn't have a toilet roll holder, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the property showed some signs of wear and tear from its refurbishment three years ago and could use a fresh coat of paint.

The beds were very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. the cottage also had a well-appointed kitchen, allowing us to cook our meals with ease.
There were certain basic amenities missing, such as shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, and coffee pods for the coffee machine. the property could benefit from some maintenance, as there was noticeable wear and tear, including the need for a fresh coat of paint.
